MASTERS QUALIFYING PROGRAMME IN BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT

The Masters Qualifying Programme is intended for overseas graduates who wish to take a Masters degree in a business or management related subject in the UK. It is a nine month programme incorporating the Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies. On successful completion of the programme, and the attainment of a satisfactory IELTS grade, we guarantee placement on a suitable Masters course in the UK. The programme is well recognised by universities in the UK and, in the last two years, students have progressed to universities including Queen Mary’s, Royal Holloway, Birmingham, Kingston, Brighton, and the University of West of England.

The programme is suitable for those who wish to take a Masters degree in the following subjects:

Management
Business Management
Accounting and Finance
Banking
Marketing
Human Resource Management

The programme consists of three main elements:

English Language and preparation for the IELTS exam
Academic skills such as making presentations and writing dissertations
Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students must have a degree or a diploma. They must also have a level of English language equivalent to IELTS 4.5. For those with a lower level of English, the College can provide an intensive English language course prior to the Masters Qualifying Programme.

INTAKE DATES
Students can take the programme either from September to June or January to August

ASSESSMENT
Assessment of English Language Skills is by the British Council’s IELTS exam. Other modules are internally assessed by a combination of coursework and written examinations.
