GCSEs

GCSEs are the principal exams taken in the UK at the end of Year 11. Students take five or more subjects with five passes being the minimum requirement for A Level and Foundation Programmes.

Students can take the course over one, one and a half, or two years and, where necessary, tuition is combined with English Language classes. All GCSE students receive free IELTS tuition throughout the programme.

Teaching takes place in small groups with a maximum of eight students per class. Each student is assigned a personal tutor who will supervise academic progress and ensure that all
aspects of student welfare are looked after.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Age: 14
IELTS 4.5 or equivalent
We provide English tuition for students who have not yet reached this level.

INTAKE DATES
September and January.

ASSESSMENT
Externally set national exams.
